Falling off the map
There is something about the end of summer that makes me fall off the map. It's as if I go into some type of self-imposed isolation chamber in preparation of life happening again. It's wonderful and not so good all at the same time. Today I feel as if I am slowly emerging from the cave, ready to embrace life again... which is necessary as I have to start school in 13 days.
I have planned a little pre-school trial run with schedules. I'm going to a conference in the Pacific Palisades tomorrow and the next day to learn about whatever is the next big thing in education and have to wake up at 6 am for the first time since June and commute.
Good-bye leisurely coffee mornings. Hello productivity!
