Possible Side Effects of Teaching

I'm sitting on the couch, enjoying my veggie stir fry, a cat cuddle, and good TV when I noticed the sniffle. Today was my last day of school/first evening of a 2 week vacation.

It always happens. I work. I get a vacation. I get sick. On the first day. So, I'm sick. And, my plans for a big date day with myself tomorrow might be supplanted with lounging and some type of vitamin infused event.

A pleasure

My students wrote me a wonderful card for my birthday. It truly touched my heart.

One of the boys who likes to give me a run for my money said, "It's a pleasure to have you as a teacher." It was so reminiscent of a report card comment and so cute it made me smile.
