Why I love the Mini

When I was a teenager, I went to Ireland and saw my first Mini. Actually Minis. They were everywhere - all old-school and very clown car-esque. I joked that I wanted to bring one home as overhead luggage.

My love of the Mini continued as I traveled to places where Mini's roamed. Then they came to the US and quickly replaced all other cars as my favorite. Cute, zippy cars = perfect in my world.

I have recently been thinking that I would really actually like to have one of these cars. While I love my Honda Civic, it lacks some of the sexiness that's inherent to the Mini. And, my '97 Civic also lacks power windows/locks, comfortable seats, and some of the major safety features I've come to like in my old age.

Today, the Mini-love found a new level. Having a Mini now means that you can have a personalized billboard. Until 5 minutes ago, I didn't know that I wanted a personalized billboard. But, now I really, really do....
